So what do we expect from you?
We only want you to come and get ready to experience a life-changing church! We expect you to be ready to learn, and leave uplifted and better than you came. We’re not a perfect people, and we’re not without flaws. We’re people from all walks of life, trying to get better and better each step of the way. So don’t feel as if you can’t come because church people are “too good”; we’re striving to deal with our issues and follow the image of Christ as well. So come see us!
What to Expect
The Kings Church of Christ is a loving church with exceptional teaching and a dynamic worship service! You’re sure to see and meet smiling faces before you can even sit down! We know that Jesus is not dead, so we don’t think his church should be either. We’re friendly, exciting, and we’re based on solid, Biblical principles and teachings—not on entertainment. Everything we do, we do under control in an orderly manner, and our activities can be referenced in the New Testament of the Bible. YOU are our honored guest, so you’ll find no exclusive pews for any person. All are greeted with equal courtesy and kindness, so feel free to sit wherever you wish.

Singing
Your ears may catch our beautiful singing before anything else; but don’t worry about not knowing the songs because we have hymn books for everyone. From our song leaders to our minister who’s known all over the country for his singing as well as his preaching, our worship service is guaranteed to be an uplifting time for you!
PREACHING
Preaching
Who preaches is not as important as what is preached. Our preacher does not have a special title that our members call him. He’s simply referred to as Brother David Wilson. Whiles he’s our leader, we believe all of the members of Christ’s church are equal in the priesthood of believers.
David Wilson, minister of Kings, is one of the most brilliant, passionate and exciting communicators of God’s Word today. Known as “The Expositor” because of the way he breaks down Scripture, David relays the beauty of the Bible with clarity, humor and real-life application. He preaches very thought-provoking messages, and in a way that anyone can receive the message.
THE LORDS SUPPER
The Lords Supper
We take the Lord’s Supper every Sunday like the first Christian church, as commanded to us (Acts 20:7). We don’t set aside once a month or set up special days. We believe, based on Scripture, that every Sunday we should gather and take the Lord’s Supper to remember the sacrifice Jesus made by giving His life for us (Matthew 26:26-29). Therefore, every Sunday is “special”!
When it’s time for the Lord’s Supper, please don’t feel obligated to take it. If you choose not to participate, please don’t be embarrassed. Feel free to just pass the plate or tray to the person next to you.
GIVING
Giving
How many times will we ask you for money? NONE. We take up a collection from our members every Lord’s Day — Sunday. (1 Corinthians 16:1-3) Our members do this based on the example of members of the First Century Church in the Bible; we give back a small part of the means that God has blessed us with to honor the Lord and show Him our love. (Proverbs 3:9-10) If you visit and would like to give a donation, we’d be very thankful. But please do not feel obligated or pressured into giving while visiting. We’re just happy that you came!
INVITATION
The Invitation
This is one of the most important parts of our worship service. At the end of the sermon, an invitation will be extended to all for those that wish to respond to the message. While we encourage anyone who wants to respond to come, it’s only if they want to. If there’s something heavy on your heart and you want to ask for prayer or you just want to thank God for his goodness, or you’re ready to accept Christ and become a Christian, this would be the perfect time. And don’t feel uneasy or shy about responding—we’ll be there with you to hold your hand every step of the way.
