What if I am the only person booking?
We've created “The Blushing Bride” bridal package just for you! If you book this package and you're the only one receiving services, your "Preview Show" will be free.  See packages here.

 

Is HD - High Definition Makeup right for me? Why do you use it?
Yes, it's great for you! Most cameras use HD technology which highlights every detail of the face! HD makeup is specially formulated to scatter light in order to conceal and correct flaws. This creates a soft focus effect  for you without any editing! HD formulas are sheerer and don’t contain high amounts of SPF. This means no ghostly looking makeup, no heavy makeup and a flawless finish! You can achieve stunning photos while looking and feeling natural.

 

“My hair never holds a curl” or “I have ethnic hair.” What can you do for me?
Angela Ivana uses 100% ceramic tools, to ensure your hair styles last an entire day. Ceramic tools are healthier, they reduce styling time, can curl bone straight hair without holding spray, and straightens curly hair in half the time! Visit our Before/After section to see some hair styles.

 

Will I have to pay a deposit fee?
Yes. We ensure your wedding date is reserved only upon payment of a 50% retainer/deposit. 50% of total services is due at booking. Deposits are non-refundable can be transferred to other individuals or utilized on a later date. If your wedding is rescheduled and we are unavailable, we will honor a refund of your deposit.

 

Why do Traveling Bridal Makeup Artist Cost me more than makeup at MAC and Sephora?

        Bridal by Ivana travels to your desired location to provide you with the same type of luxury beauty services as a celebrity would receive on location.

 

      Bridal beauty isn't just about ensuring you look great for in person, we also use certain products and technique to ensure you look great for photos! As traveling businesses, our other job is to ensure your makeup last for 8 hours or more!  

 

      The artist at retail counters are actually hired as "sales people" and have been trained to to sell you specific brands of products while doing your makeup in a controlled and limited environment. They are well versed on makeup for everyday wear and often lack the capability to apply long lasting event makeup for photographed purposes.

 

       Traveling  beauty companies like, Bridal By Ivana, provides luxury traveling makeup services to come cater to you on one of the most important days of your life. Because we factor our talent, skill, level of expertise and the quality of the products we use in our pricing, we must also charge accordingly to be able to cover business expenses so we can stay in business and serve other great clients just like you! All the products we use for you are a mixture of luxury brands and professional brands.

 

        While $50.00 price may seem appealing, you should always to weigh your cost whether high or low. Lower cost services usually mean you're obtaining services from a hobbyist, sales person using testers/store products (that the store pays for and allows anyone to use) or an amateur artist looking for experience. You truly do get what you pay for!

What will "The Preview Show" Service do for me?
So you've said "yes" to the dress and have your color scheme and bridal theme organized. Now you need a look! A preview is a session where the artist comes onsite to create your personal look for your special day. 

 

Some people may refer to the "Preview Show" as a "bridal trial." Trials are designed to try different looks and have a 1 on 1 beauty and information session with the professional service provider who you've already selected to cater to you on your special day. It is not designed to "test" our services or put us "on trial" as service providers. Please refer to our portfolio, Before & After photos and our commercial website & resume (www.angelaivana.com) to see if you believe we'd be a good fit to accomplish your beauty needs before booking!

 

This service is not included in the package prices displayed. It is a separate service that is normally booked to be performed 2 weeks - 2 months before the wedding in order to solidify your desired look. Since every bride does not choose to have a preview service, it is a separate cost. Preview shows are recommended.

 

What if my bridal party is very large?
Bridal By Ivana offers you bridal attendants to service your bridal party. Large bridal parties are normal for us to work with. Bridal by Ivana has professional artists & service providers who are prepared to service your needs for larger booking request. 

 

Can my mother and bridesmaids have a Preview Service / Trial too?
Yes, you can book a preview service for anyone celebrating your special day. Please review your personal quote for cost. 

 

How far in advance should I secure my wedding date?
As soon as you find a dress and book your venue 4 months -1 year in advance is the most common. However, we may also accommodate last minute requests (schedule permitting). Reach out, we usually have additional professionals for last minute requests.

 

Can you do my wedding outside of New York?
Yes, we service you for special occasions throughout the , NY-NJ-CT Tri-State areas, New England areas as well as across seas. Travel fees & lodging are to be covered by client outside of the Tri-State or New England areas. Please inquire for personal quote.

 

Do you charge extra for bridal attendants?
Bridal attendants can provide you with speedier services times. They are often required when both hair and makeup are booked for a large party and time is of the essence. Additional bridal attendants are often needed for larger parties of 9+ requiring both hair and makeup. The fee per attendant is a flat rate of $125.00. Otherwise, your service tip go towards paying your bridal attendant for smaller parties.
